FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Dr. Kristen Carless of Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness leads PWR! Moves (Parkinson Wellness Recovery) exercise class. (San Luis Obispo, CA) Precision Physical Therapy is proud to announce it is offering Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR! Moves) exercise classes twice a week taught by Dr. Kristen Carless, a PWR! Moves Certified Physical Therapist.
The classes began after the realization that there were very few consistent exercises classes for people diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in the San Luis Obispo area. The goal is to provide a space for the local Parkinson’s community to stay active while having fun. Dr. Carless became involved after working with Parkinson’s patients through Maria Allen, Central Coast Home Health’s San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County Parkinson Coordinator. The two have worked together to create more opportunity for the Parkinson community. “There are very few Parkinson specific research-based exercise skill training programs dedicated to maintaining and restoring skills that deteriorate and interfere with everyday movements and function in the local area,” said Allen, “I’m extremely excited that Precision Physical Therapy owners, Dr. Carless and Dr. Svetich, have seen this need and are so welcoming to the Parkinson community.” PWR! Moves offers a flexible and functional exercise plan for Parkinson’s patient that targets many symptoms and is easily adjustable based on disease severity. PWR! Moves are performed as large movements with focus on posture and high effort, meant to assist in mobility. PWR! Moves classes are taught at 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness located at 211 Tank Farm Rd., Suite A (across from Farm Supply). The cost of the class is $15 per person or $20 for two people. My husband was diagnosed of Parkinsons disease 2 years ago, when he was 49. He had a stooped posture, tremors, right arm does not move and also a pulsating feeling in his body. He was placed on Senemet for 8 months and then Siferol was introduced and replaced the Senemet, during this time span he was also diagnosed with d ementia. He started having hallucinations, lost touch with reality. Suspecting it was the medication I took him off the Siferol (with the doctor’s knowledge) and started him on PD natural herbal formula we ordered from AKANNI HERBAL CENTRE, his symptoms totally declined over a 3 weeks use of the AKANNI HERBAL Parkinsons disease natural herbal formula. He is now almost 51 and doing very well, the disease is totally reversed! (Visit www. akanniherbalcentre .com)

After my PARKINSON DISEASE diagnosis, I started out taking only Azilect, then Mirapex and sinemet as the disease progressed but didn’t help much. In July last year, I started on PARKINSON DISEASE TREATMENT PROTOCOL from Mayaka Natural Clinic (ww w. mayakanaturalclinic. c om). One month into the treatment, I made a significant recovery. After I completed the recommended treatment, almost all my symptoms were gone, great improvement with my movement and balance. Its been a year, life has been amazing
