Timothy H. Jones, MD REGENERATIVE MIND BODY Regenerative Medicine |
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear about cutting edge, non-surgical stem cell injection therapies, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapies and prolotherapy (also known as ligament reconstruction therapy). All are increasingly popular treatment option for sports injuries, lower back pain, knee pain, hip or hand/wrist pain.
With over 20 years as an ER practitioner, Dr. Jones has frontline experience with the worst injuries and understands the real value of regenerative medicine over the traditional invasive surgeries and medications. Dr. Jones will focus on the latest breakthroughs in regenerative pain relief that is an alternative to surgery or traditional pain treatments and addictive medications, provide information on how regenerative medicine could be a safer and more effective option for your joint pain, and how to avoid surgery and downtime. “My talk will allow participants to explore whether regenerative medicine might be right for them,” said Jones.
Jones recognizes that most regenerative therapies are optimized when coordinated with physical therapy, and that’s why he approached Dr. Dave Svetich, co-owner of Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness, to team up to have the talk at Precision’s clinic. “My goal is to get people back to what they love doing but sometimes treatment is tough to access. That’s why I was pleased to partner with Precision Physical Therapy because of their 48 Hour Appointment Guarantee,” said Jones.
A complimentary dinner will be served with the presentation. Those wishing to attend are invited to call the office of Regenerative Mind Body at (805) 556-7006.

PWR! Moves (Parkinson Wellness Recovery) exercise class.
The classes began after the realization that there were very few consistent exercises classes for people diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in the San Luis Obispo area. The goal is to provide a space for the local Parkinson’s community to stay active while having fun.
Dr. Carless became involved after working with Parkinson’s patients through Maria Allen, Central Coast Home Health’s San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara County Parkinson Coordinator. The two have worked together to create more opportunity for the Parkinson community. “There are very few Parkinson specific research-based exercise skill training programs dedicated to maintaining and restoring skills that deteriorate and interfere with everyday movements and function in the local area,” said Allen, “I’m extremely excited that Precision Physical Therapy owners, Dr. Carless and Dr. Svetich, have seen this need and are so welcoming to the Parkinson community.”
PWR! Moves offers a flexible and functional exercise plan for Parkinson’s patient that targets many symptoms and is easily adjustable based on disease severity. PWR! Moves are performed as large movements with focus on posture and high effort, meant to assist in mobility.
PWR! Moves classes are taught at 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday at Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness located at 211 Tank Farm Rd., Suite A (across from Farm Supply). The cost of the class is $15 per person or $20 for two people.
