As co-owner of Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness, Dave takes great pleasure in helping all populations achieve their goals. He works with patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric, as well as athletes starting at middle school ages to the National Football League. His service-oriented approach draws upon evidenced based practices. He began his career as a certified athletic trainer, and continues to update his education, recently graduating with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western Health Sciences University. Dave has extensive sports training experience with wrestling, football, track & field, rugby and martial arts. In his spare time, Dave enjoys surfing, time with his family, and working on projects at home. dave'S education

As co-owner of Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness, Kristen is committed to providing the best care possible for her patients. She enjoys keeping an active lifestyle and has turned her passion into a career where she looks forward to helping patients of all ages return to what they enjoy most. Kristen also follows the service-oriented approach to guarantee quality care for every person. Kristen obtained her B.S. in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, and received her Doctorate at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Kristen advanced her career in 2015 and achieved a board certification as an orthopedic specialist. In her free time she enjoys running, basketball, tennis, and spending time with her family and friends. kristen's education

Heather joined Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness in July 2021. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2019 from Azusa Pacific University and completed her Bachelors of Science in Health, Exercise, and Sport Sciences, with a minor Biology, from University of the Pacific in 2016. Heather is originally from San Mateo and during her free time she enjoys hiking, surfing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She had always loved visiting the Central Coast and knew she wanted to return once she started her career as a physical therapist. Heather is a PWR! Moves Certified Therapist, and also earned her vestibular and concussion certification. In the future she plans to pursue an Orthopedic Clinical Speciality to advance her ability to help people recover and get back to doing what they love. Heather's EDUCATION

MORE ABOUT MAKENZIE
Dr. Makenzie Heisdorf joined Precision Physical Therapy in June 2026. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009 from Western University of Health Sciences, her Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2002 from CSU Fresno and her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology- Exercise Science in 1999 also from CSU Fresno. Dr. Heisdorf grew up in Clovis, California but move to the Central Coast with her husband after college in 1999. She began raising her family here but then moved to Orange County in 2018 to support their children’s athletic endeavors. They move back to the area in June 2026 and she is excited to be back on the Central Coast where she can live the SLO life while enjoying hiking, stand up paddle boarding, beach volleyball, running, hanging out at the beach and watching her daughter play flag football at Cal Poly. Dr. Heisdorf has had a diverse experience in physical therapy and has worked in many outpatient clinics caring for patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. She has worked with patients post surgery including total joint replacement, muscle and ligament repairs, as well as helping sports enthusiasts and weekend warriors get back to their active lifestyle.
