Physical Therapists

Seeking additional team members for a PT-owned growing practice. Medical benefits and PTO provided. Competitive salary, realistic scheduling for Ortho and Neuro based patients. Caseload varies between balance, orthopedic, and neurological with a heavy athletic population from the local high schools and college levels. PhySICAL THERAPY AIDES

Physical Therapy Aides

Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness is looking for qualified and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Physical Therapy Aide. We have a very dynamic and cohesive staff, we are looking for a good fit that would blend well with our team, and contribute to the fun and positive culture we provide to our patients.

Under the close supervision of physical therapists or physical therapy assistants, a physical therapy aide performs delegated and selected tasks including but not limited to:

• Prepares patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming and getting warmed-up/treatment started
• Prepares treatment area for patients by following prescribed procedures and protocols.
• Aides in treating patients by applying heat, ice, TENS, anodyne therapy, ultrasound; helping patients onto exercise equipment, monitoring motion; tracking walking time and distance; measuring mobility; performing properly prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.
• Educates patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
• Assisting physical therapists with chart maintenance and timely patient flow.
• Communicates with physical therapy staff or others to discuss and evaluate patient information for planning, modifying, or coordinating treatment.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with COVID procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Maintaining any necessary supplies for back office area i.e. linens, cleaning supplies, procedure and modality supplies
• Administrative Assistant duties
• At all times maintains patient privacy and protects operations by keeping information confidential (HIPAA compliance).

Qualifications:

• A background in kinesiology, anatomy, physiology, exercise science is preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn on the job
• Exemplary interpersonal skills
• The ability to perform non-medical tasks, such as preparing patient treatment areas and equipment
• A strong sense of compassion and desire to help others
• Attention to detail

Salary: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
