(San Luis Obispo, CA) Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness, a premier physical therapy clinic on the Central Coast, is excited to announce the addition of Dr. Emily Mulhern to their team.

Mulhern’s expertise involves treating low extremity injuries, especially in the context of endurance athletes at all levels and abilities. She loves working as a physical therapist because she believes it is important to prioritize people's health and well being through the power of movement. According to Dave Svetich, co-owner of Precision Physical Therapy, “Emily is a great addition to our team. Her eagerness to heal people and passion for helping others is exciting to see.”

Mulhern received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021 from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Virginia in 2018. During her time at both universities, she competed on the Division I cross country and track & field teams.

When asked about why she wanted to become a physical therapist, she said, “I love being able to build connections with people and share in their recovery and treatment journey.” She added, “I am excited to be a part of the Precision team and I am looking forward to getting to know individuals in the community and helping them in any way I can.”
