Precision's PWR! Certified Physical Therapists

(San Luis Obispo, CA) Precision Physical Therapy and Wellness is excited to announce that we now have five physical therapists who are PWR! Moves certified. 

​Parkinson’s disease is a neurological disorder that affects the central nervous system, which has an overwhelming impact on everyday physical movement. 

​Treatment for Parkinson’s disease requires special training. Physical therapists must be Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery Moves (also known as PWR! Moves) certified, which means they know how to treat patients with the symptoms of Parkinson’s, such as slow movement, stiffness, and loss of balance. 

PWR! Moves certified physical therapists help patients during the rehabilitation process by maintaining or improving the movements that patients lose as a result of this disease. This treatment is imperative for patients so they are not weighed down in their everyday life by the physical inabilities of Parkinson’s disease. PWR! Moves also make sure patients do not become vulnerable to life-threatening conditions, which are enabled when a body suffers the physical effects of Parkinson’s.
